Secondary Certificate is equivalent to the Xth standard. Eligibility for taking admission to Secondary Programme is minimum 15 years of age (Before Exam) . There is no restriction on choice of subjects and combinations, except that minimum one language has to be taken. Learners can choose their subjects from the DBOS List of Subjects as given below:

CHOICE OF SUBJECTS
A learner has to compulsorily opt for 5 subjects, comprising:
• One Vocational Subject and Four Academic Subjects – 1/2 from Group A, 3/2 other Academic Subjects from Group B.
• Learners will be allowed to opt for up to two additional subjects (Language, Academic or Vocational) by paying the requisite additional fee.
• Subjects with asterisk* have theory as well as practical work.
